There are several stages of awakening.
The first is when you sense that something is wrong with our society, that you don't fit into it, that you are different and can't fully enjoy the trends—and the common pleasures and joys are no longer fulfilling. People usually start looking for an alternative: the "Messiah," the right religion, the right spiritual group, or the perfect teaching.
The second awakening is when you realize you cannot find what you were looking for in any existing group or teaching—that no external path can truly enlighten or liberate you. This stage is the turning point in your spiritual journey. You begin to rely only on what comes directly from above, firsthand. You start looking for answers within yourself.
Then the next awakening happens when you discover the greatest treasure a human can have—and it was hidden inside you all along, not outside. You believed it was God; you felt separated because you perceived the world through your ego. But when you accept complete defeat, offer full surrender to God, and detach from the false self, the next awakening arrives: you see that this is who you are—and it is no longer "God" in the old sense.
You didn't become God. From the perspective of your animalistic nature - instinctive guidance - ego, it appeared to be God through your feelings. But when you are aligned with it, you realize it is your true nature—and God is even far beyond your imagination. You don’t feel Him; you know Him and His plan, but only as a tipping point of the iceberg.
At this stage of awakening, you can't explain it to others. Just keep going. Sometimes you will think, "I am awakened," but when you go deeper, you become aware—oh, now I am truly awakened—and no one can understand you. That is why your awareness is silent.
